I went in there pissed cause I had a hard time getting to the office, and because acting pissed makes me less nervous. We weren't really on eachothers' romantic radars til we started talking, and we *immediately* hit it off. It was a hell of a ride when I did start catching feelings, cause I've been a man-hating lesbian my whole life LMAO

ok this is for my boyfriend and we were never friends technically since we met and started dating immediately but i was unsure of him in the beginning / thought he was cute and fun but no crush just yet… but then he came to pick me up at the station near his house on what i guess was our 3rd date and he was walking down with his headphones on and his curly hair was bouncing up and down and he looked like he was on such a mission, with a very cute serious look on his face. I’m not sure why that was the moment but I felt like a sort of “pang!” feeling and after that I was pretty much in love :)

I used to hang out with a coworker of mine on our breaks, we would drive around in my car and just chat. The first time we ever hung out he was on aux and played The Reason by Hoobastank, he belted at full volume the entire song. This shocked me because luckily I am nonjudgemental and I thought this was fabulous, and it was such a vulnerable thing to do with me and I felt very trusted. Unluckily he ended up being kind of awful to me when I rejected his romantic advances, but I really enjoyed this moment together and I can't stop thinking about it.

Decomposition is the bridge between life and death, the little bit of tape that makes it the *circle* of life, non-linear. I'm OBSESSED lately. When we die, it's the natural process that fungi, bacteria, and other microbes ultimately consume our physical bodies. I believe that as our brains, our nerves, neurons, etc are consumed, little bits of our pysche are being digested as well. Our conscioussness, little by little, becomes one with the mycelial network (a.k.a the "Wood Wide Web"), the soil. And maybe, through the food chain, as bits of our memories travel through the soil, to the grass, to the deer, to the lion, even to other humans—we are kind of reincarnated, in a way. Maybe, when I eat fries made from a potato that was grown from soil that carries the soul of a rabbit, I will catch a fraction of one of its memories: The softness of its mother's fur, the smell of the soil in its burrow, the shape of a shadow in the grass on a particular day. Maybe I'll look at a tree one day, and the shadow it casts on the grass will look strangely familiar, but I won't remember where it came from.
