The Cameron Winter show last night was unbelievable. There is something very special about him and I believe he has the potential to be a generational artist in a few years. Have not walked away from a show feeling like that in a long time. god is real
extremely not subtle brag bc i saw him perform all of heavy metal in a room of maybe 70 people 10 months before it came out and it changed my life. hearing nina for the first time had me in tears and the second i finally heard it on the album i cried again <3

I saw all 3 live for the first time yesterday at The Sultan Room and I think they were all amazing. Their music made me feel like in an early 2000โs NYC movie. I appreciate how impeccable the shows were bc I know how hard it is to create and bring a song to the stage. They are my current favorites <33
Been revisiting the discog and this is by far their best. One of those bands thats so secure in their sound that you almost write them off as a fixture but then you hear the bassline in โSlow Fast Hazelโ and realize theyre goat
A crime novel that is shockingly nihilistic and angry as well as hopeful and contemplative all at once. Starts off simple but unfurls into a sprawling meditation on identity, race, parenthood, gambling, and incarceration. Very special book
