Terrifying. Violent. Healing.
I can’t explain the sense of fear that was in the air before they took the stage. Not fear that I’d get hurt or anything, but the fear of knowing that for however long they played I’d be a part of the living organism that is the pit. Genuinely felt like I couldn’t breathe for some parts but was worth it.
Some bruises, lots of soreness, incredibly joyful.
Was at a show last night and the dj hit play on a bouncy techno jam to close it out, got on the floor and started a mosh pit. Bumping shoulders, hugging, jumping up and down, holding hands, and everyone smiling and laughing. Something about the contact and chaos and care that makes it incredibly special. So much fun if the vibe is right
Get ya ass beat, but in like a brotherly loving way. Jump off the stage, steal the mic and let your favorite lyrics rip. Unmatched energy anywhere else on planet Earth. People are always surprised at how much fun they have
There’s no rushing the healing process, but it may be tempting to maintain some kind of relationship because you care about this person. That can be hard and prolong the healing process, but try and move on and focus on what you think you do want 🫡 you got this
