my friend and i saw them in boston in april 2024 and WOW. i was already familiar with the band and liked their music, but seeing them live absolutely blew me away. plus we were so close to the barricade. it was fantastic.
I was fortunate enough to catch the 1975 on their still at their very best leg last year. I‘ve been a big fan of the band following the release of their sophomore album back in 2016. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see the band before their return back in 2024 as I wasn’t really going to concert or interesting in the concert scene until recently. Overall, the night was wonderful as I got to experience it with bff who’s now also a big fan. The band even played my favourite song of their sophomore album :D
i saw ink at a big venue, but my friend and i were really close to the stage and got to sing our hearts out and jump around and dance, and it was amazing. the psychedelic furs were at pappy and harriet’s, a much smaller outdoor venue, and i went with my mum. we stood near the back and sang and absorbed the music, and it was also amazing.
when i was in high school i paid $800 to this band from warped tour to play a show in my living room and it was so fun an intimate and chill. after we ate pizza and donuts and played mario kart. 10/10 would do it again in a heartbeat. either that or 2014 when i saw the 1975 and grouplove play back to back at a festival.
so much kraftwerk. like, an ungodly amount of kraftwerk. i’m not mad about it tho. they’re the best to ever do it. the beatles for people who love going to the club.
