Hating on ai

Sometimes I recommend being a hater. I’m not here to talk about the numerous quality uses of AI, how often it is actually used nor am I here to critique AI without strawmanning it. I don’t care if I strawman an account of AI because I genuinely despise the way most people use AI. I think AI generated images are ugly. I think that AI cannot hold a half decent conversation. I’m completely avoidant when it comes to showing AI my writing; I’ve never done it and I refuse to. I hate when you go to that one poetry website and there is AI “analysis” there, because its not real textual analysis and it upholds a certain contextualised intentionalist framework of reading a text reinforced in high school English. I hate that the meta AI will influence what products will be advertised to you. I don’t care if it’s the future. I genuinely love being called a dinosaur because I hate AI.

I actually fucking despise AI so much. the only reason it’s pushed so much is so larger companies don’t have to pay as many workers to do certain jobs. BUT GUESS WHAT WE CAN ALWAYS TELL. AI is so fucking stupid and cheap. The human experience is so unique and hard to replicate. don’t even get me STARTED on AI fuck ass art it always pisses me off seeing that shit. get that 12 finger ass bullshit out of here. ANTI-REC: AI IN EVERY SINGLE APP

i genuinely don’t understand the need for an “assistant“ in every app now, it reminds me of how social media apps would copy each other to death, fighting to become the most popular one. remember when ig copied snapchat stories, or threads as the new twitter, the new be-real-like feature on ig, etc…?? except it’s even worse with this. people keep tagging freaking grok everywhere for nonsense on twt, there’s meta AI in every meta app, and now idk if they made Siri function with AI tech (i looked it up and there wasn’t a definite answer, but if anyone knows please tell me!!!). my obvious biggest concern is the environment, while the rise of anti-intellectualism is also at bay. i’m also tired of my university profs pushing AI onto me in an effort of trying to seem more modern. genuinely, i don’t think there’s anything that pisses me off more than chatgpt.
