When I really think about it, I owe so much to this series….. Peeta Mellark I know you like an old friend… Cheesy ya ya maybe I’m a Gen Z Potterhead about The Hunger Games but it’s hard for me to really articulate the depth of this series impact on me. Not just content wise, but it was my first real ~obsession~ and that in itself is a special thing for any young girl. Re-reading it as an adult was one of the most joyous experiences in the past few years of my life, and tbh, I’m not short on joyous experiences. Coming back to a really important story for you during formative years AND it being genuinely GOOD is fucking awesome. I have mixed feelings about all this prequel business but I’ll always ride for the original trilogy
