two books (one is smut, the other is crying in h mart), two pairs of hoops (one silver, one gold), dark brown nail polish and top coat, flower lamp, tissue box, two claw clips, a bottle of lotion, a crocheted coaster also in the shape of a flower, and a small photobooth picture of my friends from college and i in an oyster shell frame.

making your bed into a nest

the resurgence of spending valuable time just hanging out on/in your bed is truly delightful to me. at any given moment my bed is covered in blankets, pillows, books, my cat, my laptop, pill bottles and boxes, colouring books, different fizzy drinks.... my friend told me that she read somewhere that girls sleep surrounded by all the things that are valuable to them. i definitely do. also: i hate the term "bed rot". everyone should be allowed a true place of comfort and escapism, and mine is my bed.
