it's a pretty smooth / easy conversation starter without being too serious and can be cheeky or cute depending on the delivery said it to a guy last week and he's like "i just saw you less than a week ago? are you implying that i've quit my corporate job since the last time we spoke"
ik ppl hate hearing this, but just be straight up. maybe break the ice by sending a meme about ur situation to make it light. and then be like, hey i like the back and forth but i would actually want to hang out and date/go out. and then at the end you can send another funny meme to make the interaction less awkward. like a bye lol type thing
This is my favorite way to make friends, if you dislike small talk this is great. Just say silly little things you would say or ask your friends. Usually this keeps the conversation going for a while :)
don’t wear squeaky sneakers to the library, my gazelles are very squeaky even after many months of walking in them, i keep forgetting to put different shoes on before coming here!!
