I remember starting undergrad I was incredibly stressed about financials/time-management I don’t think I truly processed a thing. Now that I can set the pace and keep my full time job, school ain’t so bad.
I love being a part-time student.
I was nervous because I have two young children who are also homeschooled and I wasn’t sure if I could juggle mom life + homeschool life + remote learning for the year and a half it would take me to complete the degree, but I’m doing it!! The program has changed my life in ways I never even imagined. Set to graduate in May 🥲🎓
Did I apply as a quarter life crisis moment? Maybe a little but wow! I love school! I love being a student! Academia rocks! Getting to learn from experts is a treat and a privilege and it’s so nice!

It’s been really awesome transitioning between career worlds and studying and learning alot.
It’s also been awesome leaving behind the traditional corporate office and getting to split my time between my formal work/school obligations and local ~things~ I’m passionate about.
My partner and I met over doing patient baths as nurses in the ICU, started by walking out of work together after a year of having a crush, now we live together and have two pets ♥️
