i cannot stress this enough my hatred for this is so passionate because unsolicited advice genuinely makes me want to drive into a wall!!!!
also may or may not be directed at old people who are more susceptible to this!!!! this doesn't benefit the receiver at all!!!
i hate it when people can just assume that they give advice right off the bat — hello??? like time and place??? nuance??? the actual need/urgency/the act of actively seeking out for advice???
people who give unsolicited advice honestly just have the intention to insult a person in the most passive-aggressive way....
the existence of unsolicited advice genuinely MAKES SO MAD BECAUSE IT DARES TO TRY TO TAKE SAME SPACE AS THE SINCERE ACTS OF SEEKING COUNSEL AND RECEIVING WELL-MEANING ADVICE... 😭😭 it is the bane of our existence and the sharing of knowledge is something so sacred and beautiful... not whatever this shit is....

When did it become universally acceptable to promote dread in your children? Boooooo ! That’s loser behavior, time inherently promises you bad AND GOOD times. You could say so many things, but instead you put your self loathing about your life onto your children. Stop doing that !

Was out and about today and decided to check out my local record shop. Never have I walked into a place with such a strong vibe.
The two workers were talking about percussion quality on a specific album while I was thumbing through countless shelves of vinyls.
When I asked one of them for recommendations, they asked what I listened to and gave me a few suggestions based off of that. Super cool, great conversations. I'm new to this hobby, but damn is it cool thusfar
