my song of the day! found this 7” split on rym. need to look into this band more. i can’t decide whether i find their stuff cringey or super awesome but there’s this one specific part of the song that is sooo damn catchy, it’s been stuck in my head all day. second half of the split is some good sass core too
This album goes hard from start to finish, mixing cowboy chords with alt rock progressions. The title track will leave you pierced by loves lost arrow, while tracks like Berlin got Blurry will leave you toe tapping to the memories of nervously drinking and trying to fit in. and those are just Andrew Savage’s contributions. Every song by Austin Brown brings similar heat. Hypnotic tracks like Dust will hook you straight away with its driving power and irresistible mantra. By far one of my favourite album by the lads.

its very cozy and calm and a little sad at times
at a couple of moments i was hoping for more of an edge, or a little bit more drama but i think that was just the mood i was in so thats probably on me
i think 'used bitch' and 'why are you so uptight' were my favorite songs on first listen
