Sharing your niche and favourite Pieces of media with friends

Yesterday, I showed my friend (also my roommate and colleague) what probably is my favourite film. It’s an old French film that was practically the blueprint for the lonely and stoic hit man trope. It struck me how much he enjoyed it. I wondered why I hadn’t shared it with him earlier. Why are we so stingy to share what we love? Why do we delay the amazing bonding opportunities that beautiful art gives us. I don’t know, but I’ll be doing a lot more of this.

I love their collection of films, I’m prone to doing this in general but they often make me cry in awe…. Perfect Days by Wim Wenders, shows you the beauty of everyday life The Worst Person in the World, simply showing life & love how it is Aftersun, a deeply moving debut film which tells you the whole story in between the lines Beautiful Boy, deeply moving story about addiction & the relationship between father & son High Fidelity (the Zoë Kravitz Version), simply levels up your music taste, really good remake Normal People (better if you read the book first), unglorifies life & love in the most beautiful way
