I used to feel that way a lot but honestly once you're with the people you like and something funny happens or you try a new thing at a new place you remember like "oh this is life". I don't know if that makes sense but sometimes feelings get complicated when you think about them.
Feeling deep connection will ebb and flow with all people you know. I don't think things have to be deep to matter. Just experience it all and have fun with the little superficial things too.

I hate to plateau, I hate when someone thinks they’ve identified a trend in my being.
I will always strive to learn and change and be a better version of myself because ik everything I want from my life is on the other side of growth.
We are god’s silly little experiment for him to experience himself infinite times in order to collect infinite perceptions of what god is.
