cooking For a friend or taking them out when they are having a rough time

Doesn’t really matter the reason. I’ve had people unexpectedly do this for me when I’ve gone through rough periods and I try to do the same now. like damn that lasagna or whatever meant so much. and when people are really down in the dumps it helps so much to be around people so take em out somewhere. Remind them what life/the world has to offer cause it’s easy to forget.

HELPFUL PEOPLE

i haven't been feeling great lately and i'm also trying to adjust to a medication that's making my life hell but i reached out to my doctor and i talked about it with my therapist and they are so kind it made my day. there's always a way of getting help somehow and that's what's giving me hope!

i am so grateful to the people i have met this weekend and the grace and care they have been showing me. it is truly a beautiful beautiful thing for victims to come together in the face of such ugly, ugly actions by a man. maybe i will be ok when i am surrounded by this much love from strangers
