what an insane movie!! gripping story with all-time career performances from everybody and insane cinematography. and don't get me started about the music! legitimately a career highlight for everyone involved. a movie that reminds you why you love movies!
Holy cow. So many layers to this movie but I love what it has to say about the literal magic of music. Art is so innate to human beings and how we express ourselves, and itβs beautiful how art can affirm its own importance. Additionally, this movie kicks ass!
an excellent thriller set during the height of the bubonic plague, reframing it as the outcome of a war between heaven and hell. loving every bit of it so far!
