I think the summer should be the time to reinvent yourself. Whether it be by changing your appearance, your mentality, or your approach to things; or even just by gaining a new hobby. There’s no better time than the summer, I feel like that season is just brimming with endless possibilities, endless ways for growth and I love it! Go out and have fun! Discover yourself. 🌞The lead up to summer always excites me more than summer. It’s a cool season don’t get me wrong but once that heat really gets cooking I’m very much over it. The thought of it is amazing though. You think of all the summer type things you get experience again and make all these plans and then in the middle of it you remember oh yeah this is not for me.

🌇I used to not be a fan of Summer (even though I was born in June.) I hated way the heat felt on my skin, the tan lines that showed up on the side of my face because of my glasses, and the sticky feel and sour smell of my sweat.
Now Winter...
Winter was my girl.
Warm lattes, big puffy jackets, rainy days. Absolutely loved.
But as I got older...I don't know--I think Summer is superior. I mean of course, Winter has snow, Christmas, NYE, etc. But this year, I'm actually looking forward to hot summer days. I think I'll just dress properly for it this time...and keep a fan on me.
