I failed to stop on my walk last night and couldn't stop thinking about how nice that one part was so I had to go out of my way to return and take a picture so I could find out it was honeysuckle
It's that cliche saying, stop and smell the flowers. But today I walked past a bush that was blooming with small yellow flowers and it smelled so nice that I did a double take and walked back to smell it again. I live for moments like this! sure my future is important and I have goals to work towards, but day to day I care more about enjoying every moment as much as I can. :)
Planted on purpose but they do grow natively in the wildโฆ Yellow Honeysuckle (top) and Sweet Black-Eyed Susan (bottom). Every time I went out I had to smell them both they are so delightfully fragrant. And Moonflower/Datura of Erowid fame donโt do thatโฆ but she is so beautiful glamorous and mysterious and the blooms only come out at night
