every time i put on shoes i look like i’m doing it for the first time. my shoes can be too big for me, and i’ll still have trouble putting them on. i am a 5’5” male so with my head down putting on shoes, i just look like a twelve year old.
i just wanna put shoes on like this guy. he’s just tying shoes but lowkey i’d hit that.

Here I am. Sore, bloody, beaten-down, and embarrassed. I’m breaking in a new pair of leather shoes. If the shoe fits, wear it. But if it doesn’t, wear it around your apartment when you’re home alone. Do laps up and down wincing and wondering when they’re going to feel normal. Wear it up and down your block going to grab coffee or get a sandwich, limping your way home hoping none of your neighbors ask if you’re okay, to which you must respond, “yes I’m fine. I’m just wearing shoes that don’t fit.” Wear them when you have nothing to lose. Never before a long day out or a first date. Wear them with bandaids on your heels and bandaids in your pockets, and bandaids in your other pockets. Maybe one day I’ll wear them out dancing.

I’m very stubborn when it comes to buying new items for my wardrobe - especially shoes. i recently got myself a new pair for the first time since i was sixteen. But I still wear my old white air force 1s. And my black ones too. But not too long ago i got these fake docs and they fit me great! It feels so weird to walk around in un-creased shoes. But that wont last very long. I dont know how to take good care of footwear. But that’s nothing a trip to the mall can’t fix. You know those guys who offer to spruce up your shoes in the mall?
