every single one of them. The form of content as a whole. Even the one that’s “different” and “is actually cool” nope I hate it all. “But Hank, you’re on your out of touch old head with this one, it’s just reality tv for a new gen” ok then why tf are they just clicking on stuff for large swathes of time. I’ve done my research, they often are just looking at a screen and making a remark every 2 minutes. You mean to tell me you like this persons personality so much youre willing to watch them just hang out ??? Floribama Shore and 30 day fiancé are awesome bc something is always happening. If the streamer has the on-camera juice to capture your heart and mind then they should be able to put some planning into a format that entertains

@WORLDONFIRE mostly just confusion lol it seems like a lot of the appeal of keeping up w that world is the drama they get into. Im against that type of petty call-out as entertainment, but especially when you can’t even put a face to the bad behavior, that doesn’t sound fun. Also bc you asked I went and watched a couple minutes of a big vtuber and they were using a weird baby voice and i hated it

@HHTTHHTTHHTTHT omg i am really so sorry for making you spend even a minute of your time watching that, it’s the voices and baby talk that get me the most. my brother and a good friend were into them and have thankfully gotten less into it but as a result of that phase, my parents‘ (in their 60s) will still get vtuber videos recommended on their youtube tv algo

MINDLESS/TRASH TV
Whenever I’m going thru an anxious spell or working on an album/preparing for a show.. I usually have 0 brain power left by the time I get home after a long day. My favorite escape is frying my brain with really bad *but amazing* reality tv. 90 day fiancé is my go-to but so many others get the job done.. married at first sight, the ultimatum, etc.

Love island us (Season 6)
I’m a sucker for a dating show, but tbh I have only played around with the shows that Netflix offers (ie Too Hot To Handle, Love is Blind, etc). I CANNOT believe that I never experienced Love Island before, the stakes are REAL, the drama is REAL, the people are REAL. Everything feels so genuine, the people are annoying and over dramatic, yes, but that’s what MAKES the show. It’s streaming on Peacock btw!

Drawing a picture and writing short prose instead of filming people doing weird stuff in public
Ok stay with me here. Too much public filming. This is going to discourage good weird public activity. We need people being weird in public. Odd dancing, carrying around insane items, freaked out fits, etc. Instead of a quick vid to show your friends, or, god forbid, *get internet clout*, people should be sketching the scene and describing it in colorful language. Now you have to take accountability for your opinion on the matter, your draftsmanship and writing gets better, and the public freaks have plausible deniability in the job interview. This goes for drunk man on the street tik tok videos as well. Put on a newsboy cap and start jotting. There should be exceptions like intentional performances or heinous crimes of course. I’m open to other exceptions I just can’t think of any rn. This will never be a reality but i can try
