The first time I heard this album I found it extremely cold and bleak in comparison to other Wilco albums. It's grown on me over the past few months and I think it might be their most creatively daring work. Genius songwriting everywhere, surreal lyrics and this really sterile production. Awesome album

@SALAD_VALET i'm not sure if I have a favorite on this album. Maybe Wishful Thinking but the lyrical perspective of the third person is very rare for Tweedy so I also really love Hummingbird. So much to explore on this album

For Radiohead fans looking for other artists

Pot kettle black by wilco

wilco’s music literally always sounds so jubilant to me idk, especially the orchestral part at the end of this song.
yankee hotel foxtrot is also one of the greatest albums ever.

after my fairly recent breakup this album hits some eerie notes in the deepest pits of my interior. in my opinion it's one of the strangest releases by warp records.
