I usually watch races on and off during the season. It’s hypnotic and a lot more fun that people give credit. But what I haven’t been able to get over recently is how perfect most of the driver’s names are. Usually the commentators will say the full name and I rly understand why. William Byron? Bubba Wallace? Cole Custer? You couldn’t make up better names if you tried. I have no idea what the correlation between having a good name is and being a good driver but there’s gotta be something to it…

for a boy - elijah byrd, benjamin jay. byrd is a family name and i love love love the name elijah. jay is a mix of my dads first and my moms middle name (neither one of them have middle name first names and i think its important to honor family members that you love with middle names
for a girl - juniper irene, gwendolyn (wendy) claire. okay, so the stuff i said about middle names goes out the window with juniper irene... i just think its pretty. i know juniper is kind of trendy rn but i think its so so so cute. as for gwendolyn claire... long story. i believe in names with nickname potential and i think wendy is so so cute. im a blink 182 fan and my favorite song by them is wendy clear.... wendy claire... wendy clear.... you get it. me and my mom also listen to a lot of blink together so its honoring her!!!

My beloved waits for me while I’m showering sometimes and when I come out lets me cradle her to my chest. I think it is the purest love I have ever felt for anything. I’ve read that people do this with human babies to foster connection, but human babies aren’t as soft and fuzzy and they don’t purr so I think this is better.
