@MANSAMUSI yep, if i’m remembering right i think it’s only 10 cuts the whole movie. not sure if there are any hidden cuts, but still impressive

This is also possibly the most anti colonial american movie there is. The big debate in the movie is about nietschze’s ubermensch and they even explicitly name drop hitler.

One of the lesser watched Hitchcock films, and his first in Technicolor, it was a bold experiment in filmmaking at the time. The director used long takes and ”hidden” cuts to make the film feel like it’s all happening in a single take, allowing the plot to unfold in real time similar to the original stage play.
