such a beautiful, liberating film. they had so little but they lived like royalty—with opulence! please watch this movie when you can, the run time barely crosses 70 minutes. it is history that is extremely important for modern day culture. might mess around and write a full essay on it
5 stars has become my favorite movie of all time

french movie about ACT UP , an HIV activist group in Paris in the 1990s, even tho the movie is a little long i think the pacing is amazing and provides not only a good overview of the history of AIDS in France, but also a more personal perspective on the conflicts within the queer community and individual experiences, it has some unnecessary mlm sex scenes as is typical of a lot of gay movies but overall the relationships portrayed here are really tender and show how people find community in a shared pain— absolutely loved it!! happy pride

I had the pleasure of rewatching this in a run-down theatre in Paris two weeks ago and it was quite incredible. Cried a lot and reflected on everything that’s ever happened to me and what could possibly happen now. I am grateful to be shown beauty in the world every day and I want to create something to say thank you to God but it’s so overwhelming i just feel rubbish. Anyways, it’s about a group of teenagers setting fires and bombs around Paris and it’s wonderful and ends very upsettingly and theres a Willow Smith Whip My Hair needledrop included. Bonello you are the best!

you should not be able to give a song a "score" per-say I mean in certain cases yea but it just stigmatizes music from being listened to because one critic just didn't like it! i think there should be a sort of sticker system: - gold star if you loved it - garfield sticker if it was nice - thumbs up if it was good - encouraging "keep trying!" sticker if it was meh - sad face if you didn't like it - you decide the sticker if you hated it

i open it, wait for it to load (delayed gratification), swipe the top refs, like them, check out the accounts their from, might follow, see what the people i follow are posting, search up new music or something random (all on my own accord, no algorithm, no doomscrolling) find something actually cool that i bookmark/add to a list to check out (which i do check out), either leave the app satisfied or make a silly little post and then leave the app with no urge to keep scrolling or looking, happy with my time spent
