There’s something so beautiful in listening to a song and immediately understanding every lyric. Knowing that in many ways, everyone feels the same way I do. This song speaks to my soul, quite literally. “Yeah, my faults and my fears can get loud

It makes me appreciate a song so much more when I can see the words in front of me and listen. also helps if the song has background vocals you never could make out that end up being your favorite once you find out what they are. my favorite example of this right now is bodys (2011) by car seat headrest!
It’s so hard to narrow it down! So I’m going to do three. 1. Roses. It’s cliche and very typical but I can’t help it. Roses just have such a romantic moody vibe that I can’t help but appreciate 🌹 2. Wisteria. Where I currently live, wisteria blossomed not too long ago, and I hadn’t really ever experienced wisteria irl. IT WAS SO GORGEOUS. Also, wisteria smells so divine. Truly a top tier flower 3. Lily of the Valley. I would argue they are the most whimsical of all of the flowers. They just look like little fairy hats and I am so charmed by that.
Fleetwood Mac has A LOT of bangers, but something about Landslide gnaws at that piece of my heart that my chronic nostalgia lives in and it makes me think of my parents and my childhood and growing up. Special shout-out to the Chicks cover of the song as well, because its hard to outdo the doer, but those ladies come VERY close.
