waking up tired

it feels kind of shit that you can go to bed and sleep for hours and still wake up feeling tired and unrested :( i know that’s not everyone’s experience but it’s definitely often mine

REVIEW OF GOODNIGHT WORLD BY YAKUI THE MAID

Overall Review: 9/10 Qualities: Ambient, dark, unsettling, robotic Favorite tracks: Radiostalking, Calamity NOTES BELOW: Yakui the Maid’s Goodnight World is haunting and beautiful in a way I have yet to see recreated— it is dark, ambient, grayscale and robotic like nothing I’ve heard before. It is exactly how I would imagine the artistic interpretation of a dying machine, and it feels like a fever dream inside of a computer. I would highly recommend this album if you are interested in more mainstream artists like Nero’s Day at Disneyland or Metaroom. It is one of my new favorite albums! Thank you for reading my review :)
