im a hairy boy who’s been able to grow a full beard since I was 15. I got sensitive skin and am prone to getting ingrown hairs that can become infected and become cysts (got some scars to prove it) so I really can NOT be shaving to skin in most cases. i’m a trimmers only kinda guy and otherwise let it do its thing. I stay regular on grooming tho.
had to shave my beard (and shoulders 🫣) for this freddie mercury costume last halloween and I got an infected follicle on my jaw because it was the first time i’d had a smooth face in like 8 years. was worth tho and I ended up keeping the stache-forward style after

doomed to doing designer stubble and use very short trimmers on my face bc it never fully fleshes out 🔪
I don’t do upkeep on my body bc it’s not too much or not too little and I look like a rubber chicken every time I’ve tried

its crazy to me we are now at a point where major companies are actively putting measures into their products to make them hard or impossible to fix on your own. if you take it anywhere else to get it fixed your warranty is now voided. i just paid like $1000 for this phone. do i even really own it if nobody but the company i bought it from can fix it?
better yet you bring it to them and they will essentially do nothing but quote you for overpriced parts you don’t need or more likely just tell you to buy a new phone. thanks apple!!!
