Life post-grad has its many perks and many downsides. Of which one is that I find it harder to feel productive without a constant pressure of deadlines looming over my head. And while it's nice to measure the quality of my life and well-being through other things that the intellectual work I produce... I miss the feeling of constantly writing down very smart thoughts. So yes fuck the capitalist system but also... So nice to work in an office and to feel like you actually added something to the world by writing a thousand emails (that lead to actual real life things).

Before I get fired from my office job for being a communist agitator, I want to champion how easy and fun it can be to be an office drone. it’s comforting to know there’s always someone above you. Checking emails. Stealing paper clips.

I maybe am less fun and interesting than I once was but having a nice routine where I put on cute little office siren Outfit and go to work and chitchat to coworkers during lunch feels very nice…. u can still do fun artsy things on the side but also have health insurance!

As y'all might know, I'm a climber. Which is fun, cute, sexy and I recommend everyone to become one. Only downside is that it's def a male dominated sport. There's plenty of girls who climb, but a large majority (in our gym) is male. Meaning that the likelihood of going on an outdoor climbing trip without men.. is small. Unless, of course, you organise a girls-only climbing trip. I would highly recommend doing so. Men r great but it's also nice to only be surrounded by girls who know what's it like to climb when you have a menstrual cycle and don't have a natural knack for dynamic power. Made me feel supported, seen and connected.

I mostly do selfportraits with watercolours inherited from my mum and greatgrandma. I find that it helps me process and communicate emotions + it's easy to get reference pictures. (i also draw other people, like lovers and friends, sometimes)
