if you live in a humid tropical climate, jeans MUST get washed regularly. That stuff gets grimyyyy. Also rain and mud and just.... you have to wash your jeans more often, I smell them a mile away. And so I don't care what country I'm in, my jeans get washed after 3-4 wears. And if I'm getting off a plane, and for some ungodly reason I chose to wear jeans, then those go into the washing machine immediately. i also don't get the hype behind raw denim, like it's just unwashed fabric that will end up in a landfill at some point. With over production to the brim in Asia, we are inundated with denim of all sorts that will take years to break down anyway. I am indifferent regarding the upkeep of denim. It's over produced, over hyped, and filled with polyester most of the time. It's not great.
i agree!! raw denim doesn't make any since like what the flip. i feel like denim probably isn't actual denim unless it's from the 70s/80s or whenever they started putting polyester into everything we know and love.
Putting on a pair of wet jeans that are too tight and wearing them until they dry so that they stretch out enough to fit properly Itβs an intensely uncomfortable experience but worth it when you put the jeans on next time
actual denim none of that stretch shit none of that jaded london paper thin floppy pants. iβm talking rigid non stretch break-it-in-yourself type, or has already been broken in by someone before you
Sometimes you try your best and everything seems to hit the fan no matter how much you try, so you take that raincheck and take yourself out for a day.
This is what I call it hahahah made by mums everywhere but the greased up version is sold along stalls in Mumbai. Two regular slices of white bread, buttered, and the middle filling is cream cheese with red onions, coriander/cilantro, tomatoes and some minced chillis. All veggies chopped mini cube size so they blend with the cheese. Toasted crispy.
