This book made me who I am today, I was absolutely obsessed with the pictures and set design of the photos. if youāre into dollhouses I highly recommend buying it because it is just a beautiful book to have.
Another honourable mention is her version of the princess and the pea, Iāve always been obsessed with dollhouses and these books were my go to.

Yes to magic tree house!!! I wanted that trunk of clothes so bad. I was one that read the American girl books but never had a doll, and no I won't carry that bitterness to my grave. Felicity is my problematic fav. Tintin also falls in that category. Guess I loved adventure stories!

i reread the picture book āthe libraryā by sarah stewart, it was so cute and had some lez undertones. i felt whimsy and sweet. i read a bunch of others too and the pure shots of nostalgia back to back was intoxicating

the most iconic picture books from my childhood are the rainbow fish and the very hungry caterpillar
however other really fun nostalgic book series from childhood include the stiltons , babysitters club and the rainbow magic books also any jaqueline wilson books SO MUCH FUN
