Amazing IDM/Trip-hop album that has some great replay-ability!!! I would say I know the genre, but that’s honestly more of a guess than anything! Totally recommend listening to it! Also had a Vegyn feature on it! The vocals of the British man talking added over each track add for an existential, yet intriguing yearning of something more. I give it a 9-10!👍

by shredddflanders. really cool production - reminded me of underscores, porter robinson, and 100 gecs. insanely cool how the songs flow into one another - especially from "Gross Men" to "Jim Carrey." That was a suuuper cool transition. also "Jim Carrey" probably my fav. very fun! wish the songs were a little longer though, the ideas have lots of potential that in my opinion could have been explored much further for each song. In that sense I feel like the album had the potential to be much more immersive experience. Even though its not a genre a often come back to, it was a fun listening experience! will definitely be looking forward to more by shred.

That album really scratches every itch in my brain. The beats are perfect. It's pure joy. Like most expressions of joy, it's complex and discordant. The words do not line up with the way my body wants to move to the sounds. The words are truly devastating, but in combination with the beats it's a beautiful expression of the humanity of dialectics. These two truths are opposing but they exist as true at the same time: I feel horror and love and devastation and excitement. These things are all true.

Things You Should Leave Alone is sooo solid and a shining example of what a trip hop album should be— moody, sexy, sometimes desperate, but also sometimes insouciant. Sick beats. Trip Hop is one of the things I hold in the highest regard, take deathly seriously, I “do not play” about it. I discovered Puracane semi recently (small discography, toured with Depeche Mode once) and was just enchanted by this album. My favorite track is 14 Nights. There’s also a cover of Summertime Rolls by Jane’s Addiction which is fun and makes sense kinda

Just grabbed these guys recently!! Got some Björk, Laila France, and a Chris Cunningham Director’s cut DVD. Have yet to watch the DVD, but heavily recommend both of these albums!🙏
