i wish their stuff sounded a little more like Selfish Machines now just because that album is so perfect. I love the touch of traditional Mexican music and emo โ i want more of that. Itโs why the album continues to be on repeat but their new stuff sounds good too! Surprised a band has kept my favor this long tbh.

Keshi's sophomore album has been on repeat for me over the past few days. It's a sensual and passionate ride from start to finish, and you can tell that a lot of time and effort went into it. Great production and a strong performance from Keshi overall.
Standout tracks for me are Amen, Soft Spot, War, Bodies, Id (that beat switch is absolutely divineeee), and ofc Kiss Me Right on the bonus edition which is a collab with Madeon

i like to get lost. it forces me to remember that i donโt need a gps to go 5 blocks to that one restaurant. i bike till i feel โlostโ and then bike a little bit more and take a different direction home.
i find new parks, new hobby shops, that one weird art installation, graffiti i havenโt seen before, and cool plants everywhere. it reminds me i need to just chill out at take in my surroundings more.
disclaimer: i usually do this when i cant sleep and i have a lot of worry in my brain. it helps me leave my phone, distress and connect with my body/space more.
