It is NOT a perfect game, but it was the perfect game for me. I love this game so much that I beat it, and then instantly made a new character to beat it again, and then ran New Game + and ++ in order to Platinum it.
Plus I just watched Jermas stream highlights of his whole Dark Souls playthrough so itās safe to say Iām obsessed.

āļørecently started dark souls after one year when i had quit. my god what a gorgeous franchise. figuring out the story by reading item descriptions and making your own theories about the lore is so much more rewarding than it being spoonfed to you. the music, the cinematics, the gameplay, the character designs oh my god everything is lovely
also love how quitting dark souls and then coming back to it a year later to fall in love with it is a global phenomenon lmao

š®Alice Madness Returns - first played it in my first year of uni at 18 and it became my whole personality, recently replayed it and it basically happened again.
The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood - a recent play and the game that has me considering becoming a game writer
Deathās Door - dark souls for cutie pies. i just find this endlessly repayable because the controls feel so nice for me. Also the first āhard gameā I played that convinced me āhard gamesā arenāt out of my ability.
Final Fantasy X - the first āreal gameā I played on my ps2 when I was like 10. my friends used to make fun of me for not going out to play after school because I was doing anotber ffx replay.
Shout out to the spyro trilogy and Spiritfarer - the endlessly replayable basis for my favourite kind of gameplay, and the first game to make me cry, respectively.

šI had one pair that I didnāt wash for 2 years cus I rotate them out pretty regularly and it would shrink if I washed them. Obviously if theyāre dirty looking or if I sweat in them a bunch then I do it more. But itās still rare.
