so many artist recs on here i normally would never even consider listening to. but taking that chance has helped me find a few new songs/artists i really like but would normally never explore on my own
Spending a couple of snowed-in days listening to everybody's best of 2024 playlists, as well as diving more in-depth into the punk/alternative/rock scene. I so love having the time and energy to listen to and explkre new music, styles, and sou nds :))
Then I let The Algorithm™️ do it’s thing from there. Other ways include listening to random microgenres, music from other countries and older eras, looking up Wikipedia pages of artists and reading the section about their musical influences (musos sometimes listen to niche artists for their inspiration).
