My mother and I don’t really have many interests in common, but we love the cure. She got us tickets to their MSG show last year and it’s a fond memory I have. When we talk about their music, I feel like I’m chatting with my friend. She’s really the coolest. Happy Mother’s Day!

today i shared hozier‘s cover of do i wanna know and i destroyed disco by the dare; she sent me lykke li‘s cover of silver springs and then we talked about chvrches’ cover of do i wanna know and tove lo’s cover of dancing on my own. we both love bbc1 and like a version covers :) (which she intro’d me to!) very fun thing to do 11/10 highly recommend. the mothers (or mother figures) in your life will probably enjoy it too
