Should we imagine Sisyphus happy or should we image Sisyphus as collectible merch? Kirimichan answers yes to both these questions. Kirimichan is Sanrio's first Greek Myth hero. Their mythology consists of a personified salmon slice, whose dream is to be eaten. However, everytime they fulfil their dream they get reincarnated in another piece of salmon, and live in a eternal cycle of trying to achieve their goal that inevitably will restart the cycle. Is Kirimichan living a tragedy, cursed by eternal repetition? Maybe... But they are really enjoying themselves. Now, I would like to use my self declared status of a niche micro internet celebrity to incentivize all in Pi.Fyi to vote for Kirimichan, my personal favorite and beloved. Though I started the comparison between Kirimichan and Sisyphus, I would say they fit better as a Sanrio interpretation of Prometheus, if Prometheus was really psyched by the idea of having his liver eaten.

One of the things I like the most about Pi.fyi and the current scale of users is that it's still noticeable when a rec was inspired by another. Sometimes the rec directly mentions the other, but other times you can kinda assume that reading an especific thing here triggered a memory or an ideia. It's very cute and interesting to notice the small influences interacting with other humans online can have.
