my great-grandma had one in her guest room!! i was always so excited to sleep on it, then so surprised when i inevitably could barely sleep because of the sloshing noise every time i moved. it seems like it should be more comfortable than it is. i was also consumed with fear that it would somehow pop

@BIGSTRONGGUY I sort of imagined they would be like that, great in theory but impractical in execution. I do wonder how many actually popped on people though

when i was a kid my neighbor had a water bed, and i was fascinated by them, but i also had a horrendous fear of sharks (they are now my favorite animal) and whenever i was in a body of water i was scared and would think of a shark attacking me so i would try to fear factor my fears and i would lie on the bed and then subsequently panic and jump off the bed
anyway all that to say you should get a water bed for the plot
