I’ve never had someone who takes good candids of me but I’ve always gotten good ones of my friends, well someone who has become a friend in recent years just showed me candids of me that she’s taken in the last couple of years that I’ve never seen🥲 So sweet actually, I second this rec.

Offering to take photos of strangers
If you see people taking a selfie, always offer to take the photo for them. Bring good energy, have a little photoshoot and make sure you take at least 5 pictures. You're basically taking their moment and turning it into a memory that isn't ruined by the front cam. It's also good karma.

READING EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS OF SHAKESPEARES PLAYS
most of them r from diaries so they're short and barely even tell historians about the play... imagine someone using letterboxd to try to understand what ppl thought of a movie and all they see is "my favorite part was paul mescals thighs" 😭 this is your sign to be annoying and write everythinggg about the movie u watched!! its for the historians!! (these are excerpts from "Eyewitnesses of Shakespeare: first hand accounts of performances 1590-1890" by Gamini Salgado and "Playgoing in Shakespeare'a London" by Andrew Gurr)
