just about to give a wise ass answer has me realizing how dreadful interviews must be if you’re passionate about the job and not just cynically trying to milk it for what it’s worth. I genuinely hope you get the job.

so it’s like a 60% chance that i bombed another job interview

i just can’t do it! i feel like i’m a robot pretending to be a human. only everyone sees right through me and just think i’m weird, unlikable and constantly contradicting myself. i can’t really tell the truth that i’m simply autistic (which let’s be honest not gonna do me any favors in the eyes of hr), or pretend to be ‘normal’ because i‘m not able to mask anymore
besides the job is really nice and suitable for someone like me oh i really hope i get 😩

ELEVATOR MUSIC

Like the kind you’d hear in a 1970’s department store while shopping for polyester slacks. This shit once sparked a conversation on a Reddit thread about sonic nostalgia. I posted a clip of a forgotten Muzak gem, and this one person responded with an even deeper cut. We ended up bonding over obscure composers of corporate lobby ambiance.
