My watch was momentarily possessed, phantom pressing and sent an alert that caused me to frantically scream CANCEL like a boomer, hoping Siri would have mercy on my soul. 10/10 adrenaline rush. The panic. The stress. The drama. Great test of knowing who’s gonna pick up if you’re actually in an emergency 💖 Unnecessary life experience tho.
It was the number I called the most growing up (back when you had to actually dial the numbers to make a call). It’s still burned into my memory and after all these years, I know it better than my own. Even though this friend drifted out of my life, I still think of them often. I wonder what it felt like when they received a text from some stranger looking for their old bestie. Did they say my name? How’d it make you feel when you saw it?
This just happened to me and I was given the absolute privilege of listening in to her sweet conversation with her cobbler for 2.5 minutes. I know this could be considered spying, but 10/10 still rec.
