i think allowing pi to stagnate into an echochamber would ruin this whole thing we have going on. not going to say which hot takes i agree/disagree with (i.e. blogpostgate, anti-recgate) but i do think a general culture of critique and disagreement helps keep things interesting. hope people continue to be respectful but if not that just adds to the overall experience. think your thoughts etc whatever. i will remain here regardless of the posts people make, as long as it’s fun.

i know… witnessing this as first i was like please dont let us have twitter level drama but i think its good to 1. give people healthy reminders about posting standards 2. keep people from too firmly enforcing those standards

I feel as if I am preaching to the choir here and Contradicting myself however it must be said
posting here with intentional recommendations or genuine questions makes this place valuable and fun
I see bleed over from Twitter or people just straight up complaining about things and I don’t really enjoy it but alas who am I
if I sound ignorant sorry I just see too much myopic discourse on things and get burnt from it as a result of being online too much. This place seems more quiet compared to others

You could be negative on anyyyyy other social media platform and I wouldn’t care because I’d expect it; but here…we come to this place…for magic. <<AMC Nicole Kidman reference btw. THERE ARE HATERS HERE BUT WE HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE TBH

i feel like people project (i am people) on here and will just go IN sometimes. but then a lot of the OGs on here will be like “well that’s not very nice and have you ever thought about it this way?” and then they kinda fade away. PI.FYI is not like meta or tt where their algos fuel the rage bait. it all just happens in chronological order except when u hit that random button. 😏 which i be doing and i also recommend. i also see ppl be like “okay maybe i was wrong and i didn’t mean it like that” which is nice 👍
what’s also really nice is that we can all just disagree on stuff that’s a little superficial and be cool with it #rare
