Usually, before heading to a bookstore, I have a tightly curated list of books I’ve researched. I hardly ever pick up a book that isn't on my tbr. On this particular day, I walked past this gorgeous pink glossy cover; I was ultimately intrigued. It depicts a true insight to the infatuations girls typically experience in their early twenties; the chaotic highs and lows of the classic notion, “we accept the love we think we deserve” but on acid.
This book was truly a trip to read, Sophie’s writing bends from Paradise to what I can only describe as a neon-fuzzed fever dream. It is wild and weird, I feel like the girls who get it, get it. After reading this book, I am in wonder of Sophie’s uniquely original voice within her writing. I want more
