the company name on the monitor was acer. I played lots of wizard 101 on that puppy. also my initials are ACE and I tend to be acing tests so you could say I’m an acer in those ways too 😎

I vividly remember playing this on the computer at my local library. Nothing I’ve played in my adult life has lived up to it, but it could have just been the knowing I’m going home to my mom for pizza and a freshly checked out library book that did it for me.

kinda basic but truly what a fun game. I dabbled in a lot of those multiplayer websites when I was wayyy too young (parents didn’t care abt internet restriction; I’m the youngest child in my fam) but this was just the best. My brother and I used to wait until midnight on holidays to see what the drops would look like. Learned vaguely about sex and bullying and surfing, as much as the website allowed at least. My friend the other day sent me a meme that had a pic of the lighthouse and I felt genuine nostalgia. When it shut down, I dabbled in the legacy ”mod” and have been thinking about getting back into it 🤔 a trip down memory lane!

I’ve never been the best conversationalist, which is why I’ve always gravitated towards people who can talk for days—it puts a lot less pressure on me to do the talking lol 😇 I pride myself in how much I care for what other people have to say about themselves, so it’s fulfilling to hear that I do a good job in showing it. I like knowing that even if I’m a more quiet conversation partner, I’m still a good one!
