a queer couple having to pretend to be straight so their evil son can marry the daughter of a right wing conservative senator is more lighthearted and warm than you’d think. this movie is hysterically funny and i think it ages well for the most part. i had a blast and i love robin williams

@JOE_M_MILLER not evil in a supervillain sense, but evil in the way that he forces his parents to change everything about themselves to appease other people who are actively preying on them and also acts like he hates them the entire movie

it totally feels anacronic, i don´t recall watching such a stupid cis-het romcom in a cinema in my whole life, this surely feels like a product designed to be half watched on television on your aunt´s house, but hey, i laughed my ass off (and the whole cinema did too), and glenn powell is a screwball genius that would certainly fit in a forgotten leo mccarey film. will gluck strikes again!
