Literally grew up eating food from Malecon. I haven’t gone to this location in years but i remember eating their mofongo and stews and it was so good. There’s another location on 175th in Washington Heights.

Just above Fordham, on 158 E 188th St, Bronx, NY, is a wonderful and cozy Puerto Rican restaurant. I had the beef stew, rice and beans combo and it was one of the best lunches I've had this season. This place is famous in The Bronx -- Bourdain went, I think Fat Joe filmed a music video there --- and it's a nice warm bowl of food on a tough day. Always support the food of the hood.

114 and Broadway on the UWS/Morningside heights. Old school chocolate shop where you can get fun candies and chocolates by the piece. Make yourself a custom box or bag and walk over to St John the Divine, visit Book Culture, and then walk down into Morningside Park. Exceptionally pure vibes, I hope it never closes and I’m not sure how it hasn’t.

I actually made a Spotify playlist of all the music I listened to throughout autumn of this year. It mostly consists of 80s new wave and rock-pop I have discovered, recent releases i loved, east coast rap, and other favorites that nicely tie in together on the playlist.
