one of the all time greats for comedy. i love the audiobook because he is the narrator. it’s so rare to hear someone tell their own story, especially one as compelling as mel brooks’.
It feels like someone sitting down with you to tell you about their life, spilling the tea, and everything in between. It’s special to hear the author read in their own voice and in their own unique way.
I love a good audiobook. Especially a memoir. I’m currently listening to Cher’s. The only draw back is I don’t get to see the pictures. I love her Bob Mackie costumes and her raw honesty.
after a hours-long battle with 3 different spotify customer service reps, i finally have access to audiobooks on spotify and that’s a whole new world. i like listening memoirs the best since they’re the most similar to a podcast or just someone talking about themselves.
also you get to sound cool and different when the trader joe’s cashier asks what you’re listening to.
