first post! this is so exciting! i've been on a great musical journey for the past year or so and the last couple months in particular i've followed grouper deep into the (especially femme-fronted!) ambient/experimental rabbithole. i've made like four new playlists and midwife has been really essential to all of them and also to my writing process as i've completed my thesis this spring. i've had SYNFUELS by elusin on repeat all day today and before that i had shifted more to the techno side of things with a lot of arca and SOPHIE (rest in power), especially some of their deeper, more vibey and less dancey, cuts

such an awesome band—seeing them live tonight! listening to them feels like looking deep into the eyes of someone you love a lot and it hurts a little bit because you’re both young and weird and things are complicated but it’s good. it’s good
