Had to come and do a second rec on this genre of nostalgic games. So often I go into (misogynistic) gamer inherited thinking and ignore this whole genre as a legitimate form of gaming. I spent hours on my family computer playing games like My Scene, especially the Barbie Myscene nails game that came with printable stickers so you could print out the nails to wear. I also loved My Little Pony Friendship Gardens, so colourful and lovely. I spent lots of time on Neopets and Club penguin and other online games like that too.
If you told 6 year old me that I'd be able to play Spyro The Dragon on a Gameboy-sized device (plus like 800 other games) in my adulthood, I would have accused you of being a wizard. Absolutely love this stupid little gizmo.
This thing has the spirit of the Game Boy. Packed with fantastic interactive experiences and refreshing "old school" games focused on gameplay. Plus it's cute and has a crank (thank you Teenage Engineering).
