Sitting scrolling thru the app seeing all the wonderful posts :) dog and I just got back from the park so I’m cooling off before heading to the corner store to get wine :)
Decided to join my doggy in gazing out the window at the neighborhood and it was a nice little time- I saw some birds and noticed the way the breeze hits the trees outside
Growing up I spent the summers with my grandparents in Texas and there were three specific treats I would eat with them: strawberries dipped in sugar 🍓(with whip cream but I don’t have any) vanilla bluebell ice cream with hershey chocolate syrup 🍨and watermelon with salt sprinkled on 🍉 I miss those summers so I will reminisce and eat strawberries with sugar today ❣️
I have a very loud laugh it’s more like a cackle but all the women on my moms side of the family have it and when we all get together it sounds like hyenas and you can hears us down the street lol 😆 but anyways my ex did not like the volume or tone of my laugh so I would try my hardest not to actually laugh around him and it made me very insecure. Recently my friends have told me that I have the best laugh and I didn’t believe them… they told me it’s one of their favorite things about me and I cried about it lol it feels really good to appreciate that part of me again
