“In 2025…?” you ask, “as a grown woman…?” yes. In 2025, as a grown woman. I finished the 3 main line games in a month and a half. anime visual novels in general are a spinterest of mine but I never thought I’d really love DR. But I love it lol. I think I’m more susceptible to dumb stoner humor than I thought 😅 I’m having lots of fun, though!

ive never been much of a gamer, but I recently tried playing that’s not my neighbor and it was actually really fun (perhaps because of its rather simple game setup) so I’m kind of invested into playing more but primarily ones with more serious storylines this vid here caught my eye today (highly recommend, very well organized and made me think a lot about my own experiences!!) i first encountered silent hill 2 when I was 12 and I didn’t really process the story or its themes in that first gameplay but revisiting the game as an adult has kind of blown my mind a bit by just how heavy the emotional weight of the game is (and how I had no business playing it at the age of 12…) I haven’t played mouthwashing but I am really interested in playing it after watching this video interested in other recommendations as well!

do you have too much free time? are you looking for THAT piece of long form media to just sink your teeth into? do you like media that gives you emotional whiplash? boy do i have the think for you... When They Cry is a visual novel series consisting of two (Ciconia doesn't count) stories, Higurashi and Umineko. They mostly function as mystery stories, but they also encompass so many other different genres. Higurashi mostly functions as a slice of life mystery/psychological horror story. It follows a group of close friends get their friendship tested after a sudden and highly unusual murder takes place in a small town. I finished this story a few months back and it hasn't left my head since. One of the most unusual, surreal, gripping, and emotionally potent pieces of fiction I've had the pleasure of reading/playing/watching (idk what verb to use). Umineko is one I'm still in the midst of reading/playing but it is just a good. Far more ambitious in scale and themes. One of the biggest stories I've ever experienced. Will prob talk a bit more when I finish it but it's something that feels beyond what a normal human could make idk.

An escape room/visual novel game that kept me hooked from the beginning to the end. I finished it weeks ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it. Don’t get the ported ps4/steam version it’s not as good :)

I did my makeup like this for my first training shift as a waitress yesterday, and after that I had my last shift at the kindergarten. One of the students kept asking why I was wearing makeup, and didnt believe me when I said it was for another job?? lol. I rarely take photos without my glasses because I get freaked out by how different I look
