if i see some bogus shit i just block bc this is my feed!! no matter the app i want to see things that i like and not bigoted, weird things…i have no energy for that (insta reels is starting to annoy me endlessly..)

when it comes to reels, i realized very quickly how the algorithm will spew the worst stuff onto me, and even after i say i don’t want to see this stuff, it will do it again.
it’s at this point that im just super mindful of what im absorbing on my feed.
I have over 14,000 accounts on twitter blocked. My IG explore page is just solid white squares. The tiktok that I never use is all animal videos. Do not ever put me in a situation where I'm seeing "content" I didn't choose tbh.
libraries are a super important part of our communities as a haven for knowledge and entertainment! you can check out a multitude of books or other media by owning a library card. using your library card can also show that members of the community (including u) find the library to be valuable, which can possibly lead to more funding opportunities for them. support ur local library!!!
